hello!

This companion blog mainly hosts links that I want to mark for later reference. It's my virtual collection. As I read through literally thousands of blog postings, patterns naturally reveal themselves. Hey, it's a hobby that I enjoy. All links are gathered manually, i.e., I do not use any kind of automated search query. I figure I might as well share what I've found. Plus, I'm using this as a tester blog, so you might see a few oddities from time to time.

This is such an interesting thing you do, Katie, compiling various blogs! I'm so pleased when I find myself somewhere in it. Great fun to wander around the other blog--and I'm surprised by all the places you go!

Thank you, Patricia. It's always nice to hear positive things about my blogs.

The links serve as notes for me for later reference. I figure it helps other bloggers, too, by getting more traffic and followers. Plus, at least I don't plagiarize or steal other people's photos.

However, one person requested that I remove all her links, which I did as I state in my copyright notices on my main blog Nature ID and this companion one. I had posted a rough draft to make sure the links worked. Unfortunately, she found the half-thought version and took great offense with multiple comments and an anger-filled post about me on her blog. I'm guessing she had a rough week.

For the most part blogging has been a wonderful experience and a good hobby for me.
